Each team plays opponents in their division twice and a team in their league’s other division once. This would give every team
17 or 18 league games. Spokane American Legion Baseball would pay for non league games for each team up to 22 total
games. Non League games would be required to be played against teams in either league. A team is not required to play the
additional non league games.

2009 Playoffs Procedure

•        The top three teams in each division make the playoffs.
•        The #1 team in each division is given a bye.
•        On July 14th the #2 teams in one division plays a crossover league game against the #3 teams in the other division at
home of the #2 team in a loser out games.
•        The winners of the loser out games plays a 2 out of three series starting at the home of the #1 seed, with the second
game at the home of the lower seed and a third game if necessary at the home of the #1 seed .
•        These are crossover games unless the two teams from the same division win the loser out games.
•        In that case the #1 team in that division plays #3 from its own division and the other division’s #1 plays the #2 seed in a
crossover series.
•        There then would be a League Championship 2 out of 3 series
•        followed the next day by Division V Championship game and
•        possibly runner-up games to determine seeds 1, 2, 3 and 4 to the State 2009 AA Tournament starting July 25th at
Cheney and University.
